# My ChangeMaker Space

My ChangeMaker Space (MCS) is a full-screen personal hub where students — and educators playing their own lives — can explore their ChangeMaker competencies, view RCMI reports, track their growth journey, and access practice resources. It opens as a full experience on top of the main dashboard, rather than loading as a regular page.

<figure><img src="/files/fdWcx0xurlvp5Ologwam" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### How to open it

| From                                | How                                                         |
| ----------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Dashboard Home** | Click **Explore ChangeMaker Space** on the ChangeMaker card |
| **Experience Hub** (top navigation) | Click the launcher → **My ChangeMaker Space** |
| **Mobile top bar** | Tap the ChangeMaker icon |

<figure><img src="/files/H4okVMu0X10sLWwqZKQ3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To go back to the main dashboard, click the **Back to Dashboard** button in the top bar.

***

### Before you can use it — the unlock rule

My ChangeMaker Space stays locked until you've played **at least one simulated life** with competency data.

If it's locked, you'll see the main area blurred with a message explaining that insights will appear after your first life. The **Your ChangeMaker Report** button in the header is also disabled until this happens.

Once at least one life has been played, everything unlocks automatically.

***

### The ChangeMaker card on Home

Before you even open MCS, your Dashboard Home gives you a quick snapshot via the **ChangeMaker card**, which shows:

<figure><img src="/files/hnYIElmqcHofs3NFlq12" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Your current **ChangeMaker Score** (0–100)
* Your current **growth stage** (Seed through to Fruit)
* A stage progression strip
* The **Explore ChangeMaker Space** button to go deeper

***

### Layout overview

#### Top header

* Back to Dashboard button
* Page title: **My ChangeMaker Space**
* **Your ChangeMaker Report** button&#x20;
* **Generate New Report** button (amber, appears when a new milestone report is available)
* Your name and avatar (desktop)

#### Left sidebar navigation

The sidebar has four groups:

**Overview**

* Dashboard
* My Reports

**My Journey**

### Section 1 — Dashboard

This is your default landing tab and gives you a complete snapshot of your ChangeMaker profile.

<figure><img src="/files/31sYzRMfNKRbg32teNCN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**What you'll see:**

| Block                        | What it shows                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **ChangeMaker Graph** | A radar chart showing your scores across all 18 competencies (0–100). Click Expand for a full-screen view. |
| **My ChangeMaking Clusters** | Your scores across four competency clusters: Personal, Inter-Personal, Strategic Thinking, and Contextual Awareness. Click View All Competencies to see all 18 scores individually, with a filter by cluster. |
| **ChangeMaker Ability** | A visual stage indicator showing where you sit on the Seed → Fruit path, with a "You are here" marker |
| **Top 3 Competencies** | Your three highest-scoring competencies with score bars |

All data here comes from your simulation history — the platform aggregates your competency scores across all the lives you've played.

***

### The 18 ChangeMaker competencies

These competencies are measured across all your lives and appear throughout MCS — in the graph, journey, resources, and reports.

**Personal** Emotional Intelligence, Self-Awareness, Resilience, Adaptability, Persistence

**Inter-Personal** Leadership, Empathy, Communication Skills, Collaboration, Social Awareness

**Strategic Thinking** Problem-Solving Skills, Critical Thinking, Visionary Thinking, Creativity and Innovation, Initiative, Risk-Taking

**Contextual Awareness** Ethical Responsibility, Global Awareness

***

### ChangeMaker growth stages

Your overall ChangeMaker Score (0–100) places you on a five-stage growth path:

| Stage          | What it represents                      |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| 🌱 **Seed**    | Your starting point                     |
| 🌿 **Sprout** | Early growth beginning to show |
| 🌱 **Sapling** | Building purpose and resilience         |
| 🪴 **Plant**   | Stronger, with a more defined direction |
| 🍎 **Fruit**   | A mature, impactful changemaker         |

Your current stage is shown throughout MCS — on the Dashboard, in the Journey, and in your reports.

### What is the RCMI report?

**RCMI** stands for **RealLives ChangeMaker Index**. It's a personalised, evidence-based report built from your simulated life choices, measuring all 18 competencies and generating AI-driven insights about your strengths, growth areas, and path forward. View Sample RCMI Report below

{% file src="/files/i2YcMnRwvOxsGtxdT41F" %}

#### What's inside the report

**Part 1 — Profile** ChangeMaker overview, competency framework, radar graph and scores, your growth stage

**Part 2 — Context** The country landscape from your simulation, challenges, severity and risk considerations

**Part 3 — Strengths & Gaps** Your personalised SWOT analysis, next steps for growth

**Part 4 — Your Path** A comprehensive ChangeMaking path, a country-specific path, and a personalised development path

**Part 5 — Journey Forward** Final summary, recommendations, and your journey forward

The report also includes your simulation stats — how many lives you've played, which countries and continents you've experienced — and an explanation of what RCMI means.

#### Is the report free for school students?

**Yes — for university students, generating and viewing the RCMI report is completely free.**&#x20;

The **Your ChangeMaker Report** button in the header opens your report directly. When you're eligible for an updated report after playing more lives, a **Generate New Report** button (amber) will appear on desktop.

#### Report actions

Once your report is open you can:

* Read it in full on screen
* **Download it as a PDF**
* Print it or save it (mobile and tablet friendly)

The report is generated in your dashboard language.

***

### Section 2 — My Reports

This is your personal archive of every RCMI report you've ever generated.

<figure><img src="/files/VFPtRlSZzgAGMmm843zW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each report card shows:

* Report ID
* Milestone (if applicable)
* The country context it was based on
* Date and time it was generated
* Your ChangeMaker score at the time
* How many lives you'd played when it was generated
* The language it was generated in
* A **View Report** button

If you haven't generated a report yet, you'll see an empty state prompting you to do so.

This is your personal report history — it's separate from the department-wide **RCMI Reports** section that admins and professors use to track student performance.

***

### Section 3 — ChangeMaker Journey

This section lets you track how your ChangeMaker score has developed life by life, and understand which competencies are contributing most to your overall profile.

<figure><img src="/files/9NEIKHxsdTjxhUL7Q3G3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/WsyMrqxiyEqaPZ2aji4j" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**What you'll see:**

| Panel                         | What it shows                                                                                                         |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Your ChangeMaker Score** | A circular gauge showing your current score (0–100) |
| **Competency Contribution** | A carousel broken down by cluster, showing sample competencies and total cluster scores |
| **ChangeMaker Score by Life** | A bar chart showing your score for each eligible life — Life 1, Life 2, and so on. Scroll left and right to see more. |
| **Stage path** (desktop) | The full Seed → Fruit progression with your current stage highlighted |

**Click on any bar** in the life chart to open a popup showing all 18 competency scores for that specific life, with the option to filter by cluster and navigate between lives.

Note: Only lives where your character died and had a valid RCMI score appear in the journey chart.

***

### Section 4 — ChangeMaker Lives

This section shows you the individual lives that have counted towards your RCMI profile.

<figure><img src="/files/5u3UBYgQ4kiEJ2oWoitR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Which lives appear here?**

Only lives that meet all three of these conditions:

* The life is marked as complete
* The character died
* The character was older than 20 at the time of death

If none of your lives qualify yet, you'll see: *"No lives match yet. This list only includes completed lives where the character died after age 20."*

**Each life card shows:**

* Character name
* Country and flag
* Age, gender, and economic strata
* A **View Life's RCMI** button

**Opening a life's detail shows:**

* A radar graph of all 18 competencies for that specific life
* A cluster breakdown
* The top 3 competencies for that life
* Option to expand the graph full screen or view all competencies in a modal

***

### Section 5 — SWOT Analysis

This section gives you a personalised four-quadrant analysis drawn from your most recently generated report:

<figure><img src="/files/ZlpqbGekene9LwXQkgIC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Strengths** — what you're doing well
* **Weaknesses** — areas that need development
* **Opportunities** — ways you can grow
* **Threats** — things that may be holding you back

The content here is personalised based on your actual report data — it's not generic. The SWOT updates when you generate a new report.

If you haven't generated a report yet, you'll see a prompt to do so, with a button to open the report flow.

***

### Section 6 — Resource Hub

The Resource Hub is a practical library of real-world exercises and tips to help you grow in each of the 18 competency areas — outside of the simulation itself.

<figure><img src="/files/73Vep9PVPolEeGYSKpqT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**How to use it:**

1. Land on the hub and choose one of the **four cluster buttons**: Personal, Inter-Personal, Strategic Thinking, or Contextual Awareness
2. Once inside a cluster, scroll through the **competency pills** to pick a specific area
3. Read through the **practice cards** — each one has a title, description, and optional tips or steps

**Examples of what you'll find:**

| Cluster                  | Practice examples                                                                                   |
| ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Personal** | Emotion labelling, daily mood tracking, comfort-zone challenges, bounce-back toolkit, goal streaks |
| **Inter-Personal** | Active listening exercises, peer mentoring, public speaking practice, team initiative activities |
| **Strategic Thinking** | 5-Why analysis, assumption challenging, future scenario planning, weekly improvement identification |
| **Contextual Awareness** | Values clarification, global news digest, SDG connection exercises, ethical speak-up practice |

The content is curated guidance designed for both classroom use and personal reflection at home.

### How MCS connects to the rest of the platform

| Area | How it relates to MCS |
| ------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **My Assignments** | The primary way students earn the lives that feed MCS data |
| **My Lives** | Lists all lives you've played; MCS filters to show only RCMI-eligible ones |
| **My Journey** (sidebar) | Shows reflections, expressions, and a countries map — different from the MCS Journey tab |
| **RCMI Reports**(admin/teacher) | Department-wide student and professor report management — linked from the MCS sidebar for educators |

***

### Typical workflows

#### For an educator

Your personal MCS works exactly the same way as a student's. Use it to explore the platform from a student's perspective, build your own ChangeMaker profile, and download your own report. For class and department analytics, use the **RCMI Reports** link at the bottom of the MCS sidebar.
