# Welcome to Your RealLives Dashboard

#### What is this guide for?

This guide is here to help you find your way around the RealLives platform as a student. By the end of it you'll know how to:

* Find and open assignments from your teacher
* Play simulated lives
* Track your progress in My Journey
* Explore your ChangeMaker skills in My ChangeMaker Space

***

#### What is the student dashboard?

Your dashboard is your personal home on the RealLives platform. It's been kept simple and focused on what matters most to you as a student doing your assignments, playing lives, and seeing how you're growing.

A few things worth knowing upfront:

* You don't need to worry about licenses or credits — your school handles all of that

***

#### How to get there

1. Go to the RealLives login page and sign in with the account your teacher or school set up for you

2. You'll land on **Home** — this is your starting point every time you log in

***

#### Your first look at Home

When you open Home for the first time, here's what you'll see:

**At the top — a welcome banner**

* Your school's name and logo
* A personal greeting: *Welcome back, \[your name]!*

**Below the banner — two main cards**

**My ChangeMaker Space** This card shows your current ChangeMaker Score (from 0 to 100) and your growth stage (Seed, Sprout, Sapling, Plant, or Fruit). Click **Explore ChangeMaker Space** to go deeper into your competencies and personal report.

**My Assignments** This card gives you a quick snapshot of your assignments — how many you have, which ones are in progress, which are completed, and your overall progress. Click **View All Assignments** to see the full list.

These two cards are your daily starting point — one for your class work, and one for seeing how you're growing as a ChangeMaker.

#### Your sidebar — what you'll see

Your sidebar is short and simple. Here's what each item does:

**Main**

| Item | What it's for |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Home** | Your welcome screen and summary cards |
| **My Assignments** | Where you find and play your assignments |
| **My Journey** | Your lives, countries, reflections, and progress over time |

**Settings**

#### The top bar

The bar across the top of your screen has a few useful things:

<figure><img src="/files/HfK83PZfPhjNSj7QuYOB" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

| What you'll see | What it does |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Experience Hub** | Opens My ChangeMaker Space, RealBoard, and more |
| **Language** | Change the language of your dashboard |
| **Notifications** | Updates about your assignments and activity |
| **Account menu** | Go to Account Settings or log out |

You won't see a life credits counter or License Management in your top bar — your school takes care of all of that.

#### How your work flows on the platform

Here's the big picture of how everything connects:

1. Your **teacher** creates an assignment and adds you to it
2. You open **My Assignments** and start or continue a life
3. As you play, your progress feeds into **My Journey** and **My ChangeMaker Space**
4. When you're ready, you can open your personal **ChangeMaker Report** inside My ChangeMaker Space — it's completely free for students

***

#### Your day one checklist

Here's a simple list for your very first visit:

* Check that you can see your school name and welcome message on Home
* Open **My Assignments** and check if your teacher has assigned you any work (if the list is empty, check with your teacher)
* Open **Experience Hub** and tap **My ChangeMaker Space** — it will unlock after you play your first life
* Have a quick look at **My Journey** — it fills up as you play more lives
* Open **Account Settings** and check your name and preferred language
* Find the **Feedback** button so you know where it is if you ever need it

***

#### Before you can get started

Just a few things need to be in place before you can do your first assignment:

* Your account needs to be active — your school sets this up for you
* Your teacher needs to have assigned you at least one assignment
* You'll need a web browser to run the simulation
* My ChangeMaker Space fully unlocks after you've played at least one life — so get playing!
